What is Tirzepatide?
Tirzepatide is a medication that acts as a GIP and GLP-1 receptor agonist. Together, these effects help control blood sugar levels, reduce appetite by slowing the digestive process, and encourage weight loss. Your Beyond Wellness protocol may also include Glycine — an amino acid that supports collagen production, improves sleep quality, and aids in muscle repair — and Vitamin B12, essential for red blood cell formation, nerve function, DNA synthesis, and maintaining energy levels.
How do I store this medication?
Store in a refrigerator at 36°F to 46°F (2°C to 8°C). Keep out of reach of children. Once punctured, discard unused medication after 28 days or after the beyond use date, whichever occurs first. Do not flush unused medications.
How is it taken?
Inject subcutaneously in your stomach, thighs, or upper arm. Rotate injection sites each time. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If your next dose is near, skip the missed dose. Never take two doses at once.
Important contraindications & precautions
Do not use Tirzepatide if you or any family member have ever had medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC), Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia syndrome type 2 (MEN 2), or if you are allergic to any of its ingredients. Watch for thyroid symptoms such as a lump in the neck, hoarseness, trouble swallowing, or shortness of breath — tell your healthcare provider immediately.
